Pure Plant Protein

Pure Plant Protein was a startup born in covid lockdown. The idea was to create a sports nutrition supplement using primarily an Australian-grown faba bean protein powder. King Specialty Blends created the entire finished product, from sourcing, formulating, compliance, packaging sourcing & design, then finally, blending and packing. As Pure Plant protein was a startup, Initial blends were very small at 50kg per SKU, and have progressed to 600KG per SKU with greater frequency.

Bear Bones Coffee

Bear bones are a specialty coffee roaster located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. When we met Trent and the team, they were supplying their coffee clients with a packaged hot chocolate and were interested in creating their own branded hot chocolate under their Bear Bones brand. KSB designed several hot chocolate samples and after one variant was approved, we were able to provide them a finished product at 75% of the cost of their previous option. Sales steadily increased and soon after, we added a Bear Bones branded chai latte to their range.

Four Pillars

Four Pillars approached us to try and bring to life an idea they had for a gift with purchase: A Curry powder made from gin botanicals left over after distilling their world famous gin. They had a recipe but needed help designing production ready packaging, label compliance and ingredient sourcing as well as blending and packing the final result. KSB worked with their fantastic design team to come up with eye catching packaging that was production run ready, before blending and packing the final product to be fully food compliant. KSB has worked with four pillars since, packing and labelling a range of spices that are used to create their gin range.
